The Story
Superman - Superman by Gary Frank (Superman Red & Blue) 1/10th Scale Statue
Around the world, everyone knows that when they see a red and blue streak in the sky, it's not a bird… it's not a plane… it's Superman!
One of the most iconic figures in fictional history, Superman has appeared in countless comic books, television shows, movies and other media. First created in 1938 by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, Superman has become the standard superhero archetype and is largely responsible for the widespread popularity of superhero comics throughout the midcentury. When the fate of his home planet of Krypton became endangered, his birth parents sent him to Earth where he was raised by the Kent family. As he grew, his Kryptonian abilties began to flourish, giving him superhuman abilities and leading the to birth of Superman. When he is not fighting crime, Clark Kent works as a mild-mannered reporter for the Daily Planet in the city of Metropolis.
This highly detailed polyresin statue stands at approximately 10.3" tall, from the base to the top of Superman's clenched fist. Based on Gary Frank's Superman: Red & Blue cover art, this stunning piece captures the Man of Steel taking flight above a base inspired by his logo. Each limited edition piece is hand-numbered, making it a highly collectible and space-friendly piece for any fan of the Last Son of Krypton!
